Vintage Japanese Postcard Emperor's Ceremony by VintageFromJapan http://www.etsy.com/listing/101666710/vintage-japanese-postcard-emperors

I was so happy to find this postcard set. This is a postcard of one of 80 paintings collected by the Emperor in the Meiji Period. 80 paintings are preserved at the art gallery in Tokyo named "Meiji Jingu Gaiden / Shotoku Kinen Kaigakan". http://www.meijijingugaien.jp/art-culture/seitoku-gallery/

This postcard shows the ceremony where Mutsuhito San became the Emperor.
It is in excellent condition!

This would be beautiful framed and displayed but it could also be used in mixed media art.

It measures 9cm x 14cm.
